Notice: Regarding the 2010 Hunting Season.

Right from the start our whole mindset at Camp Whitetail was to provide an opportunity for a hunter to harvest a Mature Trophy Whitetail.

Every once and a while mother nature will throw one a curve and force you to make a decision that was not in the plans. The winter of 08 – 09 combined deep snow with extremely cold weather just as the deer came out of the rut. As a result we lost a good number of mature deer. Even though we still have a great deer population, with some excellent up and coming bucks but we are missing an age group of mature bucks.

In order for us to properly manage Camp Whitetail as a true trophy area, Sheldon and I have decided it would be best if we did not hunt it at all in 2010.

All of our bait sites will be maintained next fall as though they were to be hunted.

This winter has very favorable conditions for the deer with virtually no snow or cold weather when the season came to a close. We will be taking deposits for the 2011 hunting season which we anticipate as being a Year for the Books.
